The Hindu Temple of Virginia (HTVA) has a grand vision of building a ~44,000 sq. ft.
temple for Sri Lakshmi Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy in Sterling, VA.
HTVA has always been a peaceful place to worship and a venue to celebrate religious and
personal events for many Hindus in Loudoun County. We wholeheartedly thank all the donors who
contributed so far and all the ardent volunteers who came together to serve Swamy
during difficult times. Our current lease ends in July,2023 and the time has come to relocate
our Sri Lakshmi Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy to the new temple. So, we are embarking on a phase-1
construction project to relocate Swamy to a facility on HTVA’s own land with address
- 44805 Acacia Lane, Sterling, VA. We estimate to complete Phase I this year summer 2024.
We need your support and donations more than ever to help see HTVA’s grand
vision come true. Based on our consultants' analysis of construction and development of this new temple,
it is estimated to cost $525/sq. ft as of today.
Please donate generously and play a role in the temple’s history.
So far, we have successfully invested $2.2Million in land purchase,
plans and permits for a 44,000 sq.ft. facility (grand vision).
Now we need your support to make this grand vision come true and
to cater to the growing Hindu community in the USA
The building will include:
Spacious main prayer hall
Sanctum Sanctorum for 12’ Sri Venkateswara Swamy idol
Shrines for Sri Rama Krishna, Sudarshana, Parivar, and Vishnu Parivar
Dining Hall and Kitchen
Yagnashala for special religious ceremonies
Thank you for your support and please visit the temple to get
blessings from Lord Venkateswara and Mahalakshmi Amma.
